These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to mailreact.com, the mailreact waitlist, and the mailreact application and browser extension (together, the “Service”). By using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
01 Introduction
mailreact (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent product that builds a lightweight CRM and pipeline view on top of Gmail. We’re currently in private beta and operating a public waitlist.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and mailreact. They incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference.
02 Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and old enough under the laws of your country to enter into a binding contract. If you’re using mailreact on behalf of an employer or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@mailreact.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
03 Waitlist & early access
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Service. We invite users in batches based on capacity, fit, and the order received. We may decline or revoke a waitlist position at our discretion.
While the product is in beta:
- Features may change, break, or disappear without notice.
- We may impose usage limits or roll back features as we learn what works.
- You agree to provide honest feedback if asked, and we agree to listen.
04 License to use mailreact
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product.
- Use the Service to scrape data from Gmail or third-party services in violation of their terms.
05 Your content
You retain all rights to the data you bring into mailreact — your pipelines, notes, custom fields, and the email content the product reads from your Gmail account (“Your Content”). We don’t claim ownership of any of it.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and your teammates. We will not use Your Content to train machine-learning models or for any purpose other than running the Service, except where you give us specific permission.
You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to put the data you input into mailreact, and that it doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights or any law.
06 Acceptable use
Don’t use mailreact to:
- Send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited bulk email.
- Distribute malware, conduct security attacks, or probe our infrastructure without permission.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, or violate someone’s privacy.
- Store or process data you are not legally permitted to handle.
- Interfere with the Service’s operation or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
We may suspend or terminate access for any account that violates this section, with or without notice.
07 Gmail & Google services
mailreact connects to your Google account via Google’s OAuth flow. By connecting, you authorize us to access Gmail data in the scopes you approve, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Gmail itself remains governed by Google’s terms.
We’re not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. “Gmail” and “Google” are trademarks of Google LLC.
08 Fees & billing
The waitlist is free. Once paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms will be presented to you in-product before you subscribe. By starting a paid plan you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the payment method on file for the recurring fee until you cancel.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. Taxes are your responsibility. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before any price increase on an existing subscription.
09 Service availability
We aim to keep mailreact running smoothly but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control. While in beta, no formal uptime SLA applies.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. If we discontinue a paid plan you’re actively on, we’ll provide reasonable notice and a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.
10 Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, copy, logos, and trademarks, is owned by mailreact and protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you, other than the limited license to use the Service described above.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.
11 Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party tools (Google, payment processors, error-monitoring providers, etc.). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we’re not responsible for their content or practices.
12 Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the in-product settings or by emailing hello@mailreact.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
13 Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
14 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, mailreact and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold mailreact harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.
16 Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer based in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection rules, nothing in this section overrides your right to bring a dispute in the courts of your country of residence under the law that applies there.
17 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, if you have an account, notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
